You can select from a range of registration packages to suit your budget and availability. 

The key thing to note is you can purchase a registration which includes ALL conference events – including the Rights On Time panel show and the conference welcome reception – OR you can purchase a registration which only includes the conference sessions on Friday 7 June. 

The Free + Equal Conference is being produced on a cost recovery and not-for-profit basis. The community tickets are subsidised thanks to the generosity of sponsors.  We understand that some community advocates will not be in position to attend. Following the conference we will share outcomes of the discussions.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be advised in writing to freeandequal@lateralevents.com. 

We understand that circumstances can change. At any point before the conference, you are welcome to contact us in writing to nominate a substitute delegate at no extra charge. 

  • Cancellations made 29 days or less prior to the event will not be eligible for a refund. 
  • Cancellations made between 30 – 42 days prior to the event date will receive a 25% refund. 
  • Cancellations made between 43 – 60 days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund. 
  • Cancellations made over 61 days before the event will receive a 90% refund. 
Refunds must be processed via the same method originally used to pay. 

The Hotels impose strict cancellation policies and may charge 100% cancellation fee after Tuesday, 7 May 2024, or if the room is not occupied on the advised date of arrival. 

Please refer to the individual hotel cancellation policies. The relevant hotel cancellation policy terms and conditions will apply and the cost will be borne by the delegate. 

The Conference Team cannot guarantee new bookings or amendments to existing bookings after Tuesday, 7 May 2024. Non-payment and non-attendance does not constitute cancellation. 

Insurance

It is your responsibility to obtain your own insurance to cover medical travel and registration expenses, etc.
